The SP222 is a Dual-tech motion detector made specifically for outdoor use. Built using two sets of PIR sensors equipped with sunlight filter, coupled with digital type Microwave (MW) sensor, this combination of triple sensor greatly reduce false alarms normally triggered by the dynamic outdoor environment. Using unique optics design, the detector can be mounted at either higher height or lower height; a rare feature amongst outdoor detectors. It can be mounted at either standard 2.4m height, or the lower 1.2m height, which gives better immunity against larger animals. Even the detection range can be adjusted in steps for each height.
