Wireless coverage planner
Before the survey or in the van: for each device enter the distance from the panel and what is in between. See which spots are marginal and whether a repeater is needed.

How it is calculated
We start from each device’s open-space range (specifications) and subtract propagation loss, obstacle loss (typical values at 868 MHz) and a 6 dB margin for reflections and furniture. Green: comfortable · Orange: marginal, measure it · Red: repeater recommended.
This is a planning estimate. The final position is always confirmed by measurement on site, e.g. with the SQ201 RF detector or the SA206 test mode.
